Inspiration
Brooke Warner created Three Intentions to be a playground of exploration. Over the course of her own spiritual journey, Brooke discovered what many others have found true—that access to our internal experience is paradoxically both boundless and elusive. As humans, we have the capacity to access our inner depths in simple experiences, like loving our partners or selflessly giving to a stranger. And yet many of us, in our desire to better understand ourselves and the world we live in, discover that the simple truth of our immediate experience is often difficult to grasp.
Having been involved in intensive spiritual work and being a self-professed dabbler, Brooke’s understanding of spiritual practice has morphed over the years. The idea behind Three Intentions was to create a hub where masters would have a platform to connect with people like her—people who want a blend of the basics and the intensive; who want to be exposed to powerful ideas and experiential learning.
As our culture struggles for an understanding of spirituality, Brooke’s goal is for Three Intentions to be all about the cultivation of your personal spirituality. In her blog posts, she explores spiritual trends, and the intersection of mainstream culture and spirituality. It’s her belief that spirituality is everywhere, and that seeing the world through the lens of spiritual understanding is the key to self-understanding, personal well-being, and connection with others.
In Brooke’s other life, she’s a publishing veteran who’s worked in traditional book publishing for over ten years, and most recently as a coach and consultant who specializes in getting clients published. Three Intentions merges her professional expertise with her personal spiritual philosophy by providing a site that celebrates the written word and is involved in new media ventures, while remaining committed to the very simple idea of connecting people to amazing teachings and other offerings that feed the soul.
