How can we open the gift of being alive? Daring to live an authentic life is the work of staying close to what is sacred. It is a pilgrimage to the heart of where we are.
This retreat, guided by poet and cancer survivor Mark Nepo, is an invitation to explore the exquisite risk, the doorway that lets us experience the extraordinary in the ordinary and helps us inhabit the authentic life we are born to. We investigate the journey of deep listening, the gift and challenge of standing by one’s core, the practice of inner courage, and the art of being a spirit in the world. We delve into the gift of vulnerability, the willingness to experiment and explore our own voice, the abiding commitment to respect our own and others’ journeys, the life skill of working with what we’re given, and learn what it means to listen to our own life.
The exquisite risk to live an authentic life is a journey that we must, ultimately, inhabit alone, but one which we can enliven together. Helping professionals will also be able to use information learned in this workshop with their clients. roksa.ch
