No matter how many conversations I

start, they all end with me kneeling at

the same deep well. And drinking there,

I find you and remember who I am.

I am excited to offer a yearlong journey over four weekends for those of us who have traveled together at least once on this path. I am weaving themes for this journey from several new books in progress including, The Spirit of Friendship, No Greater Teacher than the Heart, The Long Walk Through Time, and The Signature of Being. I will also touch on some of my published books including, The Book of Soul, Drinking from the River of Light, The One Life We’re Given, and The Book of Awakening.

I am not going public with this course but opening this experience by invitation. As we have done together before, this journey will create a chance to work in a smaller group setting as a way to deepen your own path over a year of your life. The aim will be to engender a live and safe space in which we can compare notes on what it means to be alive. The group will explore the lifelong process of listening, reflecting, and expressing, and on how bearing witness to the truth of living reveals the mysteries of life.

Our weekends will focus on these themes: “From Brokenness to Tenderness,” ”Every Path Holds a Question,” “The Unfolding of Acceptance,” and “Practicing Heaven.”

It is my hope that through our time together, you will continue to personalize the practice of being human, so you can live closer to your core. It is my aim, through our company, that you will discover the inner resources and outer skills to stand more deeply in your life and better know your heart. It is my commitment that this journey into authenticity and listening will enhance your ability to integrate who you are with what you do in the world. My goal is that you will leave more whole, with a more enlivened sense of what it means to be a spirit in the world.

Beer and Wine

Kalamazoo is a big craft, micro-brew, etc. beer town.  So many we can’t keep up anymore, but the most famous and oldest is Bell’s Beer. See this website, and pay attention to the Kalamazoo sites. http://www.beeradvocate.com/place/city/43/.

Tiffany’s is also a good place for wine, cheese, etc.  http://www.aatiffany.com/
